Dr Joshua Blamire is a Research Fellow at the University of Exeter undertaking research on Brexit and Covid-19. This involves conducting in-depth interviews with people in different field sites in England in order to explore people’s everyday lived experiences of these two major social and political processes. Previously, he conducted research on the politics of austerity in Liverpool, focusing mainly on community and political groups who opposed the government’s cuts to public expenditure.
His main interests are, in no particular order: sport, politics, travel, beer, Liverpool FC.
